Building a Better Backlink

What is Google looking for when it is analyzing backlinks into your website? I will outline some guidelines and then continue through to some great backlinking sources that are still working very well post panda that Google will Love. Some general points to keep in mind on backlinking is to keep things diversified in link anchor text, link sources and unique IP addresses. Links should appear and be indexed gradually as a natural progression. They should not pop up 10, 000 at a time out of nowhere. You can automate the process, but build things up progressively. You can buy backlinks as a service but it would be helpful to utilize a backlinking schedule or linkbuilding map.
